PADDED BOX PATTERNS
These patterns do not contain the card to make the boxes but give instructions for you to cut your own
Each Pattern contains illustrated colour instructions for making one or more padded boxes. There is information on the type of card to use for boxes as well as adhesives, fabrics and waddings (batting). There are instructions for cutting the card required to make the boxes and also clear measurements and templates for shaped pieces.
These patterns are sold as numbered loose sheets in a self seal bag for easy storage or alternative for putting each page in individual plastic pockets in a ring binder.
I have been asked about obtaining the best card for making the padded boxes. We have always used grey board 1.5mm thick which is about 900 - 1000 gsm in weight. By putting grey board in to Google a variety of suppliers wholesale and retail come up. Try ebay. I found the right thickness in A3 size and there were more options as well.
Craft, art, hobby shops and picture framers might stock 1.5mm grey board and mount board for use with paintings which is about the right thickness and density. Off cuts may be obtained from picture framers.

This pattern is for the small pen and paper holder which has always been popular. To this we have added a larger version which will take larger pieces of paper up to a quarter of an A4 sheet or any paper used on one side which can be cut to store in the paper compartment for notes, lists, telephone messages etc.
